Other Stuff

So there is also some other stuff that's been going on (since before my arrival) that needs to be brought out in the open here. I am very aware of the stat padding that some fleets/players are actively engaging in. You should know up front that this is basically exploiting the game and I see it as such, and will take action as such when I find out about it. That means that if you are doing things you know you should not be doing in an effort to either raise your own stats or your fleet's stats artificially, you will be a very sad player once I find out.

I DO ban for this sort of thing, as it's tantamount to cheating for all intents and purposes.

I know many of you will say something like "but Frosty, that's a bit harsh since the game allows it to be done and it's not been fixed", and you should know right now that we disagree strongly. If you know that you should not be doing something, if it is apparent that a behavior pattern is taking advantage of the game and basically exploiting a known issue, then you know very well what you're doing and after today I will begin banning you for it. Here's how the ban system will work for this particular situation:

1st offense ~ 4th offense = 3 day ban from all GC games
5th offense = 14 day ban from all GC games
any other such issues and you will find yourself permanently unable to login to any of our games. 

I detest having to say this sort of thing, as banning players is easily my very least favorite part of managing game communities. I pride myself on being very helpful and respectable, and having to be mean to players (even when they deserve it) makes me sad each and every single time. However, this is something I take EXTREMELY seriously and you WILL find that out personally if you participate in such behavior. I have eyes all over the game, please keep that in mind when making decisions that could potentially force you to take an unwanted break from blowing stuff up.
